THE GREAT BRITISH LANDSCAPE
With the subtitle 'Britain's Heritage in Landscapes', this new prestige Audio Visual Show from Derek Forss travels the UK visiting sights that have been influenced and shaped by our momentous history.
Four years in the making, the production of 'The Great British Landscape' has been a true labour of love. The history of the British Isles has greatly influenced the shaping or our landscapes. From hillforts like Maiden Castle to the building of new towns and the ever-changing profile of the London skyline, each century has brought its own significant change that we still appreciate and enjoy today. The building of the present structure of Ely Cathedral was started following the Norman Conquest, but much was added in subsequent years and it is these gradual transformations affecting practically every corner of the land that makes the exploration of our landscapes and architecture a fascinating and absorbing experience.
This Audio Visual Show lasting around 2 hours brings these experiences to the theatre or studio. Sophisticated computerised control synchronised to an informative soundtrack accompanying stunning images guarantees an evening that will be remembered long after the event.
